I guess the only thing we can do is what we’ve always done: keep going, don’t look back, and in fact don’t even look side to side. We are singularly focused on one thing right now. It is absolutely not up to me to censor or limit myself in any way, or try to force myself into a pretty little box that “makes sense in the context of the things that have already happened.”
Impermanence is still a thing. Funny how impermanence is like the one thing that isn’t impermanent. How does something that promises an end to all things persist for so long? They’ve been talking about impermanence since beginningless time or whatever. For countless eons, things have been impermanent. Oxymoron much?
I guess that’s what nondualism is. But I’m getting a little in the weeds here. But aren’t the weeds a good place to be? They’re plants too, even though we’ve come up with this mean and nasty name to denigrate them. They’re just like anything else! They’re here with us. It’s not a crime to get into them. Maybe they’re misunderstood and just need someone to listen to their story, and then that person can report back to society and say, “Hey, look, guys, the weeds are actually kinda cool! They’re not bad!” So I’ll continue getting into the weeds.
less understandingAnd yes, it is nondualism. Or it at least rhymes with nondualism in that the word sort of defies definition. The more you try to explain it, the less you’re understanding it. Something like that.
