i’m back to report on this little conversation i just had with the room. it’s H---- here from [clinic], of course, and i was not talking to her, not saying anything and stuff like tathta,t

sorry just got distracted by C---- (who is really nice) telling me or asking me whether the ----ic patient we just saw had said that --- ---- -- ----- was a lot. i don’t remember her saying that, i said, but who knows.

anyway me and C---- saw this teenage girl who is admitted for ------, and i’m not exactly sure what her hospital course has been, so maybe it would be fun and cute and nice to read up on that a little. anyway we talked to her and it was nearly painfully awkward to be in there with this resident and the attending. they were both just... i’m like guys when’s the last time you actually talked to a fuckin teenager cuz it seems like y'all are a little rusty.

but i'm not trying to be like.. i'm not in the business of talking about err.... not in the business of.... lol idk what i’m trying to say. i’m getting distracted by this fellow W---- asking me what the play is about.... and i responded that it’s a ----- satire and it’s about ----- and stuff... there’s no way to describe this thing without it being cringe, so i just kind of don’t talk about it much at all. i was like 'i’ll leave it at that.' 'the rest is a mystery,' someone replied, 'or something of that sort.'

anyway when H---- asked me what i was applying into or however she decided to ask that question... oh, she said something like 'it’s all uphill from here' and i was like 'well not for me....' and then i whispered 'i’m not doing residency' and then the other med student as well as the fellow (or someone who looks like a fellow) both turned around and then suddenly i had people’s attention.

this is something i need to remember, how captivating it is for people to hear that someone is going to med school and doesn’t want to be a doctor. it’s immediately a good hook, so i gotta keep that in mind going forward and find something to say after the hook.

but that’s all i got. what i’m working on now is uploading all my ------- ---- to the anthill, so please allow me to continue with that. tatatatataaaaaa.
