I need to join a dojo

I am going to walk into a dojo, go up to the first person I see, and say, “Hey, please, please, let me be your senpai, and let you be my guru, my sensei, and I will love you forever. Please, please, please, do I have to get on my knees and beg?” And I do mean the first person I see. Even if it’s a lay practitioner. I’ll ask a lay practitioner at this point. I have always relied on the kindness of lay practitioners. A few days ago, B▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ reminded me that friends are supposed to use each other. That sentiment is why I went to L▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒ today. There’s nothing in the whole wide world that feels quite as good as that: to be genuinely needed somewhere for exactly who you are, the person that you are right now, as you sit in a car in silence, except the music is playing low, and you talk every few minutes about things like guys in trucks brandishing limp wrists at you, and are L▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒ drivers as homophobic as they are courageous on the roads?, and you say that her vape smoke smells yummy, and she says, “oh word?” smile I guess sometimes you gotta offer your help, and if you’re earnest enough, if you mean it, people will listen to you. But first you gotta offer your services. Do you need any emails sent on your behalf or something? Are you good? Right now there is no need to do anything. There is no use for me but this. I have no idea how this all works, honestly, so I think the best thing sometimes is to listen and don’t judge. We keep the ice broken, we are down there swimming together, it’s a beautiful day, and I don’t have to say that for us to feel it. We can just sit here and feel it. car
